Ventura County Jobsite Debris Hauled Away Fast

A remodel generates debris faster than most people expect. You tear out a bathroom and suddenly there's a pile of broken tile, backer board, old vanity, and rotten subfloor taking up half the garage. A kitchen gut produces cabinets, countertops, flooring, drywall, and plumbing fixtures in a matter of hours. Roofing jobs drop shingles, felt paper, nails, and flashing everywhere. If you don't get that material out of the way, the project slows down and the site becomes a safety problem.

The Junk Wizards handles construction debris removal for both homeowners doing DIY renovations and professional contractors running active job sites across Ventura County and western LA County. We show up with a truck sized for the job and haul it clean. No dumpster rental, no waiting three days for a pickup, no dealing with overage fees because the bin was fuller than the rental company allows.

We take drywall, lumber, plywood, OSB, roofing shingles, tile, ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, concrete, brick, block, old cabinetry, countertops, doors, windows, insulation, carpet, vinyl flooring, and just about any other construction material that comes off a renovation or demolition project. Mixed loads are fine — we sort at the disposal end. Concrete and clean wood get recycled when the facilities accept them.

Material goes where it's supposed to go. Concrete and masonry debris goes to facilities that crush and reuse it. Clean lumber and wood waste goes to recyclers. Mixed construction debris goes to Toland Road Landfill in Santa Paula or Chiquita Canyon Landfill depending on location and material type. We don't just dump everything in one hole and move on. Proper sorting at the disposal end keeps costs down for everyone and keeps reusable materials out of landfills.

Contractors who work with us regularly know what makes our service valuable: we show up when we say we will, we load fast so the crew isn't standing around, and we don't change the price after the truck is loaded. For GCs running multiple jobs across the Conejo Valley, Simi Valley, Moorpark, or the San Fernando Valley, having a debris hauler you can actually rely on makes a real difference in keeping projects on schedule.

Homeowners tackling weekend projects get the same service. If you ripped out your kitchen floor and now you've got a driveway full of tile and thinset, you don't need to figure out where to take it or rent a trailer. Call (805) 316-1610, we'll come take a look, give you a price, and have it gone before dinner.

Construction debris staged on a jobsite for removal by The Junk Wizards

We haul from active jobsites without slowing down your crew.

Construction Debris Hauling — Step by Step

1

Stage Your Debris

Pile the debris in one spot if possible — outside the structure, in a driveway, or in a designated area on site. The easier it is to access, the faster we can load. If staging isn't possible because of site constraints, we'll work around it and pull material from wherever it sits.

2

We Quote by Load Size

Our crew shows up, takes a look at the volume and weight of material, and gives you a price on the spot. Pricing is by truck load. Heavier materials like concrete carry a different rate than lightweight drywall. You get the number before we start loading — no changes after the fact.

3

Fast Load & Haul to Proper Disposal

We load quickly and efficiently so your crew isn't standing around waiting. Material is taken to the appropriate facility — Toland Road Landfill, Chiquita Canyon, a concrete recycler, or a wood recycler — depending on what it is. We sort at the disposal end to keep recyclable material out of the landfill.

I used them to clear out a side yard of rocks that the previous owner thought was landscaping. On time, friendly and did the job at a fair price. I would highly recommend them.

Frequently Asked Questions

We handle drywall, lumber, plywood, roofing shingles, tile, flooring, insulation, concrete, brick, block, old cabinetry, countertops, doors, windows, carpet, and general demolition waste. Call us at (805) 316-1610 if you have something unusual and we'll tell you if we can take it.
Either way works for us. Some contractors schedule mid-project cleanouts every few days to keep the site organized and safe. Others wait until the end for one big haul. We work around your timeline and can set up recurring pickups for longer projects.
Concrete, brick, block, and stone are all materials we haul. Masonry is heavy and takes up truck capacity fast, so concrete-heavy jobs are priced based on both weight and volume. Let us know upfront how much you've got so we can bring the right setup and give you an accurate quote.
A good chunk of our business comes from GCs and subs who need reliable debris hauling across multiple jobs. We can set up standing arrangements for regular pickups. Call (805) 316-1610 to talk about what a recurring schedule would look like for your projects.
Light debris like drywall and wood starts at $99 for a small load. A quarter truck runs $149–$249. Half a truck is $249–$399. Full truck loads of mixed construction debris range from $399–$549 and up. Heavy materials like concrete may carry a slightly higher rate due to weight. You always get the number before we load.
For most renovation projects, yes. A dumpster rental means waiting for delivery, dealing with street permits, paying daily rental fees, and hoping the bin doesn't overflow. With us, you call, we show up, we load, and we're gone — usually the same day. No bins sitting in your driveway for a week.
Wherever possible. Concrete goes to facilities that crush and reuse it for road base and fill. Clean wood goes to wood recyclers. Metals get pulled and sent to scrap. Mixed loads go to Toland Road Landfill or Chiquita Canyon, but we sort at the disposal end to divert recyclable material.
Asphalt shingles, wood shakes, felt paper, flashing, old gutters — we take it all. Roofing debris tends to be heavy and often contains nails, so we come prepared with the right gear. Stage the material on the ground if possible and we'll load from there.
We'll carry it out. If you're mid-demo and the debris is spread across multiple rooms, our crew goes in, loads everything by hand, and carries it to the truck. It takes a bit longer than loading a staged pile, but we do it all the time.
For standard debris from fire or water damage — charred framing, waterlogged drywall, damaged insulation — we can haul it. If there's mold remediation or asbestos abatement involved, that work needs to be done by a licensed specialist first. Once the hazardous material is handled, we clear everything else.
